Azalea Middle School hosted their 2nd annual Women in STEM breakfast at the Science Center located next door to the school. Approximately 45 female students, who are interested in STEM, were given the opportunity to meet with women from the community who are currently working in a STEM related field. Engineers, architects, pharmacists , crime scene technicians and firefighters were some of the careers represented. The girls interviewed the professionals to see if they had an interest in exploring a STEM related career path . Raytheon, Executive PASS partner for Azalea was a sponsor for this event.
