A small testvideo of cam/lense:
Camera: Canon EOS 60D
Lens: Canon EF 70-300mm 1:4-5.6L IS USM
The scenes were filmed at the upper end of the lens focal length (250mm - 300mm). With the 60D this corresponds to an effective focal length of 400mm to 480mm.
The richly detailed motifs (sand, stones, fur of nutria) pose major challenges for the lens, the sensor, and the video codec at low bit rates.
The camera was set to ISO 640. Aperture values between 8 and 16 were used.
Format HD 2,35:1 1280x544p30
The original was taken in 720p50 (PAL) mode.
Soundtrack: Kevin MacLeod | »Winter Chimes« | incompetech.com | License CC-BY
NLE: Adobe Premiere Pro
For Vimeo the framerate was reduced to 30 fps and the bit rate to 5 MBit/s.
